MEET THE AUTHOR

Ava Johnson

Ava Johnson was born in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. She lived there for the first two years of her life before traveling across the east coast with her family for her father’s job. Her dad was a regional manager for a large meat processing corporation, and his work brought his family to many different places, including Canada. Ava is the eldest of three siblings, a dog, and a cat.

She is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh and is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Art for Economics, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Public and Professional Writing. She is currently interning at North Western Mutual in Downtown Pittsburgh, working as a Financial Representative.

Ava considers herself ambitious, hardworking, and compassionate. She often likes to reach for the stars and is often criticized for being attentive to minor details.
